Exactly 1 year ago, I underwent SMILE laser surgery at Insight Eye Clinic to correct my myopia i.e. short-sightedness. Consultation must be held before 31st October 2025. Surgery is subject to suitability which will be determined at your consultation. A surgeon consultation fee is $200 for people under age 40 and a partial Medicare rebate is eligible for those with a referral addressed to Dr Graham Furness; however; primary suitability assessment is free. Teacher registration number must be provided. Prescription must be stable for 2 years. The discount advertised is for laser eye surgery only (incl. SMILE, LASIK and PRK) and cannot be transferred to a different surgery type if you are found unsuitable for laser eye surgery. Laser eye surgery is most commonly recommended to people aged 40 and below.
